Let's START a successful music career twenty years late. Sounds good.

Singer-songwriter Kristi Evans has been singing professionally for twenty years, but finally found the power to debut her original piano-based soulful pop tunes, surprising herself every step of the way. "I set out to write sexy dance music and instead, some political, social, and very personal pain came out. Turns out I’ve carried some heavy stuff around in my heart for awhile! Let's get it out."

Influenced by Fiona Apple, Anita Baker, D'Angelo, Neil Finn, INXS, and Jordan Rakei, Kristi's range and style borrow from a few different genres, with some discernible 90's pop/r&b tones. Kristi's piano is raw and honest, with a voice conveying a deep soul, with high highs and dark depths, giving one the sense that you will not get away - you will feel the emotions stir, whether you want them to or not.

The new single, the self-deprecating "Lazy Bitch" dips into the dance/electronica world and has been called by many "a life anthem".

Follow this woman. Her career will be fun, messy, sexy, and possibly even historic.
